My Story
My journey began in a small town in the Kyiv region of Ukraine, where I first explored painting as a child at the local art school. Watercolors taught me delicacy and patience, while flowers became my enduring muse—a fascination born in those formative years. Yet a deep curiosity for science led me down another path, into the rigorous world of physics. Seeking to understand the patterns underlying life, I moved to France and earned my doctoral degree.
Though my career was rooted in science, creativity always lived within me—ideas blossomed in my mind, even when I had little time to paint. After welcoming my child into the world, I felt an irresistible call to return to art, and I embraced a new chapter: becoming a full-time artist devoted to acrylics.
Transitioning to acrylics unlocked a universe of juicy hues and expressive gestures. This medium allowed me to infuse every floral composition with the richness and vitality that I see in nature. My scientific background shapes my attention to detail and harmony; my passion for painting flowers gives each work its emotional depth.
