Cold face

The coldest of the three. White petals with blue running through them like ink in water, and a violet upper petal carrying the weight of the whole composition.

The centre is almost black-blue with one point of yellow. That yellow is two brushstrokes and took longer than the rest of the flower.

Painted against deep aubergine so the white would read as white and not as grey.
